ALL YEAR ROUND

Stay somewhere unique

Let’s go off the beaten track. Time to get out of the city, refresh and reconnect with nature – without having to say goodbye to home comforts.

Glamping is a more luxurious way of camping, combining the benefits of enjoying the great outdoors, with a little more comfort than the usual tent and sleeping bag option! Say goodbye to those hours you’d normally spend pitching a tent and instead save them for exploring the beautiful countryside around you! Our narrowboats are designed to keep you comfortable, warm and dry in all weather conditions, with the added bonus of a comfy bed, running water and electricity.

Think of our narrowboats as having all the benefits of camping and experiencing nature, throughout the whole year, without the hassle.

THE GLAMPING EXPERIENCE – ALL YEAR ROUND

Our two narrowboats; Miss Ellie and Moonraker, are hidden in the corner of our working farm and offer a one-of-a-kind glamping experience. On the farm we grow cereals, make silage, keep sheep, cattle and pigs as well as being home to 14 wind turbines. As farmers, we’re early risers but not to worry most of the action happens in the farm steading half a mile away so any farmyard noise should be to a minimum.

Both boats have fire pits, brick BBQ’s (your own charcoal is required) and outdoor seating, so you can make the most out of beautiful sunrises, sunsets and stargazing thanks to the amazing Northumberland dark skies! If the weather takes a turn for the worse, there is plenty of seating in the comfort of the boat so you can stay dry and cosy while still enjoying the views.

Upon arrival guest are provided with marshmallows to toast around the firepit, as well as a firepit starter kit, biscuits from the The Northumbria Bakehouse, tea, coffee and sugar. You will also find a fridge, cooker, kettleand toaster along with everything you need to prep and cook a lovely meal during your stay. Fluffy white towels will also be provided, and the electric heaters will be switched on in advance so the boats are cosy for your arrival. Wifi is also available in both boats.

Guests are welcome to explore the farm on foot or pushbikes but please stick to the roads and do not disturb the crops, cattle and sheep. There is a gravel road which leads to the top of the hill, we recommend taking a picnic and enjoying the stunning views out to the Northumberland Coast and over to The Cheviots
