Lovingly restored and beautifully decorated, Miss Ellie is the larger of our two narrowboats, offering a one-of-a-kind glamping experience on our working farm in Northumberland. This quirky accommodation with hot tub sleeps up to four adults and two children, featuring two small double beds and one set of bunk beds, making it perfect for family holidays or group adventures.
Miss Ellie provides ample seating both indoors and outdoors, the spacious kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to prepare meals with ease. Enjoy entertainment on the TV, and refresh yourself with a hot shower. The narrowboat also includes two wash basins and two WC’s.
Please note that we are regrettably unable to welcome pets to stay in Miss Ellie.
Northumberland has many lovely local bistros and cafés, one of the best is Carnaby’s and The Tempus on Charlton Hall Estate, which are right on your doorstep.
There are vast award-winning beaches and over 70 castle sites to explore. For outstanding walks, you can explore our farmland, Northumberland National Park and the beautiful countryside.
Guests will be greeted with a range of refreshments, biscuits from The Northumbria Bakehouse, as well as tea, coffee and sugar. You will also be provided with fluffy white towels for use throughout your stay.
