Visit the iconic castles of Bamburgh, Alnwick and Dunstanburgh, stroll through the picturesque villages of Craster and Seahouses, or spend a day exploring the beautiful Northumberland Coast. A boat trip from Seahouses to the Farne Islands is a must, where you may spot puffins, grey seals and, if you’re lucky, dolphins playing in the waters around the islands.
One of our favourite local recommendations is Carnaby’s Café, just minutes from the farm. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a hearty breakfast, homemade cakes or a relaxed lunch before heading out to explore the area.
If you’re looking for somewhere special for lunch, dinner or cocktails, The Tempus at nearby Charlton Hall Estate is just a few minutes away. With its beautifully designed interiors, exceptional food and stylish atmosphere, it’s one of Northumberland’s standout dining destinations and well worth a visit.
On arrival, you’ll be greeted with a delightful selection of treats, including biscuits from The Northumbria Bakehouse and marshmallows ready for roasting over the fire pit. Tea, coffee, and sugar will also be waiting, and soft, fluffy towels are provided for your comfort throughout your stay.
