Set in a remote location surrounded only by trees and wind turbines you can enjoy over 10 miles of open fields to walk, cycle or run throughout your stay.

Glamping in Northumberland with Middlemoor Farm Holidays is perfect for those wishing to enjoy the benefits of the great outdoors, without sacrificing on luxury or comfort.
Regrettably we are unable to welcome pets to stay in our narrowboats.
Both narrowboats have a biofuel hot tub, which you can hire separately with your booking, and both are provided with fire pits, brick BBQ’s (your own charcoal is required) and outdoor seating, so you can make the most out of beautiful sunrises, sunsets and stargazing thanks to the amazing Northumberland dark skies!
If the weather takes a turn for the worse, there is plenty of seating in the comfort of the narrowboat so you can stay dry and cosy while still enjoying the views.
Our two narrowboats; Miss Ellie and Moonraker are located in their own private field on our working farm in Northumberland. They offer a one-of-a-kind glamping experience that won’t be forgotten.
On the farm we grow cereal and make silage, as well as keeping cattle and pigs. It is also home to 14 wind turbines.
As farmers, we are naturally early risers, however that will not disrupt your stay. With the action taking place half a mile away, farmyard noise is kept to a minimum.
Upon arrival, we provide you with marshmallows to toast around the firepit. We also provide a firepit starter kit, as well as biscuits from the The Northumbria Bakehouse, tea, coffee and sugar.
You will find a fridge, cooker, kettle and toaster along with everything you need to prepare a meal during your stay. Fluffy white towels and bedding is also provided, and the electric heaters will be switched on in advance so the boats are cosy for your arrival. Wifi is also available in both boats.
Guests are welcome to explore the farm on foot or pushbikes. but we request that you please stick to the roads. This will ensure crops, cattle and sheep are not disturbed.
There is a gravel road which leads to the top of the hill, where we recommend taking a picnic in warm weather. It is a lovely spot for enjoying the stunning views towards the Northumberland Coast and over to The Cheviots.
